NBA players are some highest paid athletes in the world.  The salary cap for each team next year is a astronomical 53.15 million dollars.  With only twelve memebers on each team, that averages out to roughly 4.5 million dollars a player.  To make matters worse, these players salaries are increasing 100 percent about every seven years.  This article shows salary caps since 1984.  Eight year olds play on the same court with the same dimensions as these pros.  I believe that we should raise the baskets to fourteen feet.  Dunking would then be impressive to me.
