I was looking through my vistors recently and was astounished to see where everyone comes from. Just to let you know, I see where you come from, what browser you use, how long you are on the site, what pages you visit, the Internet Company you use, and if you are really unlucky, I can tell what floor from work that you are on while you are wasting company time looking through my blog. God Bless you.
So a big salary cap shout out to the vistor with the most views so far. You know who you are. New Jersey, Berkeley Heights using Comcast with your MSIE 6.0 XP windows with 1024X768 resolution with javascript enabled. I also have your IP address, but that will NEVER be displayed for public use, my salary cap promise. Just think, if I know this much about each and every user, what does Google know about you? I also want to thank the russian spammer that signed up as my first user. Your porn will never be seen because I have spam karma running on this blog. I wouldn’t have a problem, but why are you pushing the gay porn? Do you think I am a New York Mets fan or what?

Ok, I am going to come out and tell you I hate the Mets. I hated them since Gary Carter, Keith Hernandez and the rest of those yahoos won the series in 1986. So, I want to take a look at the respective salary caps of both teams to prove my point that the Mets really do suck.
Since that world series win in 1986, the New York Mets have spent about 250 million dollars more than the Phillies have. So, looking back over 20 years, the Mets have averaged about 12.5 million dollars more than the Phillies. This should get you about two quality starting pitchers or one superstar pitcher to take you to the promise land. What have the Mets done? Nothing…nada…zip. The Phillies have the same amount of titles as the Mets got in the same time period.
So, why am I bashing the Mets? Because I am going to every home Phillies game versus the Mets this year. I want to be able to tell my Mets friends’ ( whom I believe to be retarded ) that their team not only blows, but spends their money as foolishly as a kid in the candy store. I would love to hear from the salary cap crowd what they think about the Mets. God, I hate you Gary Carter.

Well, if you have been paying attention to the situation around the nfl, you will have noticed that the Eagles are primed to take over the NFC once again. No, I don’t mean on the field(even though that would be nice), I mean when it comes to cap room. Let’s talk about the amount of room your team has compared to the Philadelphia Eagles and the rosters(amount of starters from last year to this coming year).
The Philadelphia Eagles have 21 of 22 starters back this year under contract. Donte Stallworth and his un-godly contract for his half-hearted injured talent is the only one missing. Ok, Michael Lewis and Jeff Garcia are gone too, but I would say they were backups coming into this season anyway, behind Donavan McNabb and Considine. Any hoot, The Eagles replaced Stallworth with not only a tough, very quick receiver, but a standout in the community in former Rams receiver Kevin Curtis. So, the Eagles have roughly 4 million dollars left under the salary cap for this year with all the starters back. So a team that had numerous injuries that would devastate any other team won their division and won a playoff game. So adding back the injuried players and a good draft(I am a little spoiled since the drafts of late have been really good) should make this team in a great situation for the year with their cap numbers.
The thing that makes everyone here at salary cap land excited is the Philadelphia Eagles cap room in 2008. We are talking 21 of 22 projected starters (L.J. Smith the only one) under contract and the Eagles in the neighborhood of 25 million UNDER the salary cap. Are you kidding me? The Eagles are the class of the NFL when it comes to managing the cap. Does this mean championships. Well, no. It just means the Eagles will be competitve for a long time(in nfl standards, I would guess five more years). So, If you are a Dallas Cowboys fan, A NewYork Giants fan, or A Washington Redskins fan(so sorry for you), you will be chasing a monster for years to come. Good luck!!
Also, is there a more dominant young offensive line in the league. You can take away my tackles of John Runyan and William “tre” Thomas and I will stack this line up against anyone. Center Jamaal Jackson(get used to that name, he is a future 5 time pro bowler), Guard Shawn Andrews (future 10 time pro bowler), Todd Herramans (Moved to right tackle and would be a future pro bowler), Max Jean-Giles (moved to Guard replacing Herramans and future pro bowler), and Tackle Winston Justice(moved to tackle replacing Thomas). This line, in my opinion, could be together for ten years or more and has the potential to be one of the lines talked about for years to come.
I also wanted to run this site by any eagles fan that wants to go to Texas to see the Cowboys play the Eagles. They do a top notch job and you will be pleased with the whole package. Dallas Cowboy football game packages.

So, I have been trying to understand why it is so hard to get money to buy a house in today’s market. Sure, about one billion foreclosures are happening, however, I have done nothing but pay all my bills on time. How can you follow all the rules and still not get help from the banks? I am so tired of begging some guy to give me money.
Anyway, I just wanted to vent a little about the amount of bull stuff that is the great salary cap game. If anyone has advice on this subject, please let me know. Oh, and the Dallas cowboys salary cap is going to look horrible after giving 16 million dollar signing bonus to an underachieving guard. Good job!

I just want to go over what the Patriots have been doing for this free agancy period. Donte Stallworth was signed to a four year contract with a 12 million dollar signing bonus. WHAT?! Yeah, that’s right. A wide receiver who runs poor routes but has some good speed just received a monster contract. However, the fun doesn’t stop there. Stallworth hasn’t been injury free for three years. And he has a substance abuse problem. Nice. I guess 12 million dollars is worth the 38 balls this guy caught last year. Some here would say I am just bitter because I am an Eagles fan. But that isn’t even it. I saw this guy for a whole year and was praying that someone else would sign him. Donte parlayed half ass work ethic and poor choice decisions into a 30 million dollar contract.
Salary cap is astounded by the crazy off season spending. But so far, without a that, the New England Patriots have been the craziest. Other than San Fransisco, Kansas City, Washington, and Miami. But these teams always suck with their free agent choices which makes the Patriots the nfl team that takes the title for stupidity.

Ok, what in the world is going on. Nfl players that are backups are starting to get some serious mad money out there. I am throwing in the towel of the Philadelphia Eagles getting anyone other than Bethel Johnson. When the New England Patriots start spending like kids in a candy shop, you know that todays NFl is no longer your father’s football league.
I guess I will wait until the draft to see what happens with new blood coming to my team. Oh, and if you are a 49ers fan, way to spend on sub standard talent. Idiots.

Well, here we are. Spring training. I was looking over the rosters of all the NL east teams and I cannot help but think this is the phillies year. The mets have no starting pitching. While they might win games 10-8, how many 2-1 games are the mets going to win? I say none. The braves are still rebuilding. Maybe one or two years away for them. Marlins will lose 100 games this year. Young talent with no direction. The expos(er…nationals) will be fighting anyone for the basement. So, I am making a prediction. Phillies, Mets, braves, expos, and the fish. This wont even be close. You have my salary cap guarantee.
