First, salary cap apologizes to everyone reading my blog.  My mom just asked me this morning why I haven’t updated my blog.  Well, it is because I am lazy mom.  I only bought a house, had my truck repainted(some kid keyed my door), went looking for cheap furniture, had drill this past weekend(I qualified with a 30 out of 40 on the m-16a2), and talked my boss into moving the company to a better location.  All in the past two weeks.  I guess salary cap was being lazy and should have written an article.  Love you, mom.  Only YOU can get away with expecting the world of me.(and expressing it)

Anyway, I was looking over the salary cap implications for the Philadelphia Eagles and the crazy draft they just had.  More importantly, Donovan McNabb and Kevin Kolb.  It came out today that McNabb was shocked that the Eagles took a quarterback.  First, you have been injured 3 out of the last 5 years Donovan.  Second, if you feel threatened by Kevin “who” Kolb, then you really are insecure.  Seriously, McNabb is the quarterback for as long as he can throw the ball forward.  McNabb’s salary cap hit will only be serious after the 2008 season.  So, Donovan has two years to win the superbowl.  After that, if he has been hurt or the team hasn’t made the leap to winner, then Andy Reid and Tom Heckert will have to think about what is best for the Philadelphia Eagles.  I say that keeping McNabb will be the answer.  Sorry Dad.

Finally, I have changed the poll for the week.  I want to see what people are doing for mom this Sunday.  Salary caps present will be a phone call.(maybe a card if I get my lazy butt to the store)
